Race report by Jorge Simoes
On the Weekend of 13/14th of October the 5th and final round of the EP TC Portuguese Nationals took place in Monsanto. The track was the host of the 2008 Nitro Worlds and although we didn't use the same layout is always a very fast track. Since is typical a difficult track for us and we were on the path for the best spot on the overall grid of the nationals we decided that we need more track time, so we went there since friday morning till sunday for more practice. Practice did work for us and in the end we have the faster cars of the 22 that went for the race. But all startegy went down the hole since sunday the weather was a mixture of rain and sun.

Qualifying
Sunday morning qualifying heats went through on dry conditions and Francisco Henriques started with a very good pace and did 4th overall on Q1, me and Pedro Moura decided to sit off and José Figueiredo was struggling a bit on the middle pack. Then the rain came and all strategys started to fall apart for most of the Team, but Pedro Moura and José Figueiredo started to show off some very good skills to race on this conditions. In the end all of the Team Qualified into main, although all the adversity. José Figueiredo was 2nd, I was 5th, Pedro Moura 9th and Francisco Henriques 10th.

Finals
3 A-mains was a mixture of dump and dry conditions. On dry conditions the Team had a very strong pace but, like i said before, the middle to the end of the grid is not the best place to be, since the we have to deal with traffic. We try our best but in the end this was the result:
